I want an international sign that says: "If you can't read English, then you're f(*&ed"

I mean, is it really such a big deal for foreign visitors to learn the words "EXIT", "FIRE", "STOP", "OPEN", and "CLOSE"? I'm a pretty arrogant American type, but even I expect to have to learn a COUPLE of foreign words if I'm going to a non-English speaking country.

While I'm on the topic, who was the blockhead that started the trend of using "1" and "0" for on and off? Is my grandmother supposed to be familiar with binary notation?

I can't be sure, but I'd be willing to bet that some French ******* is behind all this.
