Does any know where I might find a mount that might work for this model?
I imagine it would have to be a design that does not mount in the traditional area. (this is for the Ruger .45 cal hand gun, not the p90 assualt weapon)

I am looking to attached something like the Fenix tk11 or the new olight m20.

Thanks.

The older P series Ruger's don't have rails so you'll need something like a TacStar SideClip. That's if you can find one because I don't see them around anymore. I have one for a 1st gen Glock and it works great.

TACSTAR INDUSTRIES, INC. 800-423-9704

Give them a call and see if they still make the side clips and report back to us. My old beater P95 could always use a mounted light.

Ok. Well, that sounds like a good place to start. I appreciate the help.

I used to have a P85 The 9mm version of that gun. I attached a light mount to the trigger guard using the mount to a universal laser mount for handguns without rails. i mounted a streamlight tl2 mount to the bracket and it held a first generation inova t-1 bak in the day. I also saw a universal flashlight mount that mounted to the base of the clip. looked kinda odd at first but it seems pretty ingenius when you think about it

Can you show me where to find the universal you used? After some extensive searching...I think that is what I will have to do. Just can't find anything that shows for sure to work with this model. I will be ok with purchasing a light around the available mount.

I think this will be a temp solution until I get the $$ to but the H&K P2000. Should not have any problems finding a mount for that one.

Thanks!
