I've been reading this forum for awhile, but this is my first time posting. I would like a flashlight for hunting (walking in the dark to/from treestand). I currently used a 3D Maglite. It's too heavy and bulky. Sometimes it wasn't bright enough. I am freak out walking in the dark, so a bit more light would help. I also got this very bright rechargable spot light. The light is very bright, but the running time is only about 20 minutes. It is also too big to carry. I would like a small light (smaller than the 3D) with equal or greater brightness as the 3D. Could some of you suggest a flashlight that will fit my needs? I've looked into SureFire, but the run time is not that good (great for backup) and the price is too expensive. Some of you mentioned the propolymer 4AA. I read about it, but could some of you give feedbacks comparing to the 3D? How far can the beam goes? Any other that I should look at? Also, doesn anyone know a retailer that carries these lights in the Seattle area that I could try them out? Thanks.
