Flashlight You Sometimes Like, Other Times Don't Like

I do own a quality Dremel tool and kit. The issue is, I can easily see myself going too far, too hard and absolutely decimating the tailcap switch once I cut through the first ear. Plus, trying to keep everything steady and even while cutting? If I was blessed with the hands of a surgeon, I wouldn't be working in Security. Thought about going slow to get the job done. But again, keeping the cut even is going to be an impossibility. Dremel tool isn't an option in this case, for me.
Oh. I'm guessing by your words here that gutting the tailcap to remove the switch and make it safe to grind is out of the question? I thought you could do that with Thrunites still – at least I could do it with my very old TN12 2014 back when I had it, only a reverse threaded retaining ring kept it in place. Though then again that torch's switch was a pure mechanical forward clicky, and apparently the TT20 has a more complex electronic one.

Iunno, just throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks, hoping that it helps.

It's appreciated. Believe me.
Those tailcap innards do not want to budge a single millimeter.
I've tried. Got all the tools to take apart a tailcap switch. But nothing wants to move.

One last one I forgot to mention.

Convoy M2: It's so close to my ideal - a compact sleek 18650 torch in the "P60 host" style with a mildly crenellated tough steel bezel. With an SST20, it's a very pocket friendly thrower (it outperforms a C8 with a domed XM-L2 I used to have) with a tight bright spill, with some ring artifacts but those are hardly a bother in practical use. In a matter of form factor I like it more than any 18650 torch I've ever owned (and in my particular sample the tint is beautiful, 5000K but a tiny bit magenta, I REALLY lucked out on the tint roulette). I keep it on the center console of my car, and it sees quite a bit of use, more than I expected at first.

What ruins it is the lack of waterproofing. There is an o-ring between the reflector and the lens, but it's far, FAR too thin to do anything except mitigate lens rattle, and even that it doesn't do well. Any form of water splashing in the bezel guarantees there'll be ingress. That condemned it from being my go-to EDC after purchase, and I only keep it as a car light because where I live, outside of polar cold fronts, we don't get rain at all for much of the year. When the skies are grey, it stays asleep inside the console and my EDC du jour gets used instead.

I wonder if I should start a thread called, "Who found their flashlight unicorn?"
I came close with a couple of different models. But still looking. The Thrunite TT20 was the closest.... and thus biggest disappointment.
