Surefire C3 Centurion?
IMG_0351.jpeg

Man I guess you’re right 😀

Ironically my very first SureFire was a Black inca. C2 model.
I'd buy a C3. It's the only one I never bought that I'm actually interested in from the SF catalog.

I've got one of Jayrob's vintage everready mods..i couldn't tell you when or where I picked it up from, but I've got one. Maybe it's a rayovac, I always get them mixed up, but it smells like brass with a silver tailcap and bezel, with a slidey button switch. Pics to follow when I get home.

AH I remembered, courtesy of @nfetterly

😀

I should add to this. I find it rather funny when hollywood does a movie where its set in a time period but yet they use modern LED flashlights. I watched The Order and they were using maglites. Granted Kel lite would have been correct for the time period, but you can't help but notice the blue tint of the LED. Maybe I am the only one who notices little things like that.

Lovely little inca. SL Scorpion in her hands. Still have mine, put away in storage currently.
I gave mine back to my work, there was nothing more annoying than trying to fish it out of a belt holster all to turn it on and have this goofy unfocused beam. I am not a fan.

That's set in 1983, right? Mag had been around four years at that point, and Kel-Lite was going out of business. Kel-Lite or Streamlight probably would have been more common but even the Magcharger had been out for a little while.

Yea it was set in 1983, so I guess yea a magcharger would have worked for it. Just odd to see the blue tint of a modern LED in a period set movie.

It doesn't break the immersion of the muggles that make the majority of the viewer base, so eh. I presume only a director that goes armpit-deep into authenticity would bother with getting color-accurate light from flashlights.

Nope! I notice that sort of $#&% too.

Tungsten lighting is warm white, maybe the white balance is making halogens look blue :x i'm being facetious

I notice these kinds of things also. These days it's really easy to fix this in post but they either thought that no one would notice or they didn't notice it themselves.

I also notice those things every single time.

Or maybe the producers just don't care, who knows.

On another note, any Pumphouse happenings or something similar? Pretty sure that was you that had that thread ~20 years ago. One of my all-time favorite threads here on CPF.

Ahh, the infamous pumphouse. No, that wasn't me but I was following that thread as well. I would enjoy seeing a follow-up also.
