Recently got a Peak Logan 17500 for this very reason. You can get an adapter kit so it will run on any version of AA, AAA or CR 123 plus a 17500 (never seen one though(.

Has anyone mentioned Pelican 7610 that claims to run on AA, 2xCR123 or some weird proprietary Pelican 18650?

My Zebralight SC53c is built for an AA but I can also run it on AAA's without any spacer.
