MG L-Mini II 18650 Cree Q5 LED Flashlight 230 Lumens

The first 3 are I shall use at work. The 4th I shall use as a keychain EDC.

I have, so far, received the Raptor - 1. I expect the others soon.

Each has a specific function for a specific need. All are, by all reports from this forum, excellent lights. I can neither foresee a need for, nor afford, any more.........I would eventually like to have a super thrower - something on the order of a Maxi-Beam - but that will be for when I retire in a few years and get the acreage I dream of.......Of course, when another need arises......just have to think hard enough......:naughty:

A SureFire E1E and an E2E are on the way.
My flashlight budget has just taken a big bite out of my gun budget. :shakehead

6/24: Aaaaagggg! I just pre-ordered a Tactcial warm-tint Quark 1 x CR123a light. But I won't get it until July, does that count?

Tora: believe me. you will find excuses to buy more if you already found a reason to buy all of those. what you probably soon realise that you need something that is really bit smaller light.. something in cr123 or AA size. for those times you dont want to carry the Lmini2. one with a real low-low output. ( i use that alot in my lights..)

-on topic.. i bought second eo1. to give as a present. (olive)

Just as I was typing this reply - a knock.......the Postal Service........My UltraFire RL-2088 came in....however, my batteries and charger haven't yet...:hairpull::hairpull::hairpull:

Nahh....these are all the flashlights I shall ever need.........well...for now.....until...well not anytime soon, I would think.....perhaps.......I hear you...I probably will - but I have to wait at least 6 mos. for the next uniform allowance.

Just purchased a Zebralight H501, 1st decent headlamp for my night fishing/cycling. Also got a Luxogen CR2 twisty and an Ultrafire CR2/2xAA.

Also thinking of getting some eneloops and other spare cells

Just the one for my self. My first LED based light, a Fenix LD01 to replace a couple of Maglite Solitaires. So far very impressed and planning my next few buys 🙂

major dissapointment with my newest light..

fenix e01.. should of not gotten it. didnt listen to peoples comments. just wanted one.

Negative:
1 it has UGLY beam shape.. seriously oval in my case.
2 it has UGLY led tint.. purplish BLue..
3 it is TOO bright for my intended use. (didnt think i would say that ever again..)
relative: 4 it is TOO small.. i can hardly see it where i left it even if it is in the self.

positives:
man its TINY!
it runs LOOONG time with cheap alkalines.
very sturdy feeling
also its pretty in blue. hah.

so i cancelled my order of the second one. (this blue was supposed to be a present.. and olive for me.. but i wont be giving this kind of light to anyone so i will keep it myself and cancel the olive version)

Picked up a SL Power Failure Litebox 8ws. Wanted an automatic turn on light for general light in the house so nobody gets hurt if im not there light in hand. Now I'm going to swap the other Litebox to 20 watt spot for general searchlight duties. Had been looking for a used or project model but got lucky an found a new one for $69 on *bay had to go for it

Adding to my previous tally... :broke:

Bought a Nitecore D10. Man what a great little light.

Also have an Akoray paid for at KD, if they EVER ship it. 😡

I worked hard and resisted a LED Lenser p14, a Rayovac Sportsman Xtreme, and a Liteflux LF5XT. I'm trying to be good, honest!!! I told myself I need to save up for the L-Mini II and the RX-1 I have to have.

like you i initially hated my E01 but now, i am ordering 2 more!! try it out in a really dark room and not white wall hunting, its plenty bright enough and its long runtime makes it an ideal emergency light.

I already own one, bought one more for my mother in law and am getting 2 more and a few AAA eneloops, i'm in the midst of switching all my appliances, remotes etc to rechargeables and am using the E01 to drain all the 1/2 used AAAs. Primarily use this for night fishing and checking bills in clubs etc

If you really want a nice floody light, spend a bit and get the Zebralight H501 or H501W, you wont regret it, the low mode is great for reading at night and navigating around a dark room/house/wherever.

To keep it on topic, this month's purchases (in addition to my earlier post), Surefire G2 (olive) woo hoo! first SF light!

It's been a pretty calm month:

Solarforce L2 R2 5 mode with memory in Gunmetal
Spiderfire L2 R2 5 mode with memory in Gunmetal

Well its not exactly a flashlight, but I bought the bits and bobs for a Quad P7 in an Ellie host. Everythings off to Britelumens who is helping put everything together, and I can't wait to get it back.

Adding a X6 to the Nitecore D10 Magma and Jetbeam m titanium.

I sure hope I get that tax refund this mont.
