Newly Enlightened
G'day Folks
After 4 months (lots of non-light probs) I've finally got back to my bike light project. Goldserve produced a custom batch of songle interface boards for me which I am teaming up with TV1Js. They rock.
I've been playing with battery pack configurations. 6 AAs (NiMH) as 2 batches of 3 in parallel is very conservative in terms of output (these are 2300mAh).
Packs of 3 or 4 C cell size 2800 mAh is still under the 5V max for the board but puts it in a flat spin. It stops and starts, or flickers. Clearly I am not keen to experiment much further and wonder if anyone here can suggest what I have misunderstood. Higher cap batteries produce too much current for the poor little Flupic to cope with?
Cheers
Peter
