1) focuswork F2R in Bronze. Currently sold out on website.
Dragon skin pattern, 4500k nichia 519A and H17FX driver.
McR 18 reflector. As received from focusworks never carried or used.

2) Malkoff MDCF from Kosen. Never used or carried. Tint 1800 1-2v voltage range.

I don't know if I'd say I dislike it, but I think I dis-prefer it, if that makes sense.

I like the more even beam from the TIR, but I think Don's OP reflector Malkoff usually uses is a LOT better. A soft edged hotspot, and while I dis-prefer hotspots, the additional throw in use is worth it, because when I'm using the light, I don't even see the hotspot. It's just a wall thing.

I didn't realize they used the TIR for the 1800K ones. Kind of an interesting choice.

It's the main reason on don't have any of the MDCF models. All of mine are OP reflectors.
 
They are nice, however I prefer a standard orange peel with clear glass. I like to be able to see the led inside the lens

Btw. This guy is one of the best sellers I’ve ever dealt with.
 
Glad it sold. Not cool to point out *in the for sale thread* that you don't like the item in the sales thread.
While I would generally agree, the happy serendipity is that me sharing my experience with it made me consider the product - and buy it 🙂
