. I'll have my paypal waiting.russtang, these look great! Just wondering if the last standard kit has been spoken for - if not, then. I'll have my paypal waiting.
If the standard kits are all gone, are you planning on doing a second run?
ok, I got a noob question, would appreciate if someone can advice.
In preparation for the swapping, I can't seem to remove the SS bezel. Is there a trick to remove the emitter? Thanks.![]()
I used rubber dipped mechanics gloves. It just unscrews by hand. Very easy to remove.

Leave the mouse pad on the table flipped over. Then press your light into it using enough pressure to make it turn. Try the bottom of a tennis shoe if the pad does not work. I have a GD+ and this method works fine. Thanks for the advice! 😀
But I still can't unscrew the bezel. I try not to use pliers because it completely scrapped my maglite the last I tried. The bezel is thin, so it's kind of hard to grab on and it's too smooth for palm to get the necessary friction. :mecry:
If unscrewing the bezel is the only way, then I'll get it done by whatever means necessary 😡
Btw, mine's a GD+, wonder if anyone else has problem opening their GD+
The flip side of a mouse pad works great.
