EX10 stonewashed EX10 SOLD.

I am willing to sell my stonewashed EX10 body at cost if there is someone who missed out and still wants one. I have not ordered the EX10 yet and just made a couple of large McGizmo purchases so it is hard to justify buying the EX10. I took out the body looked at it and put back in its plastic bag.

I'll wait at least a day before posting a new FS: thread on B/S/T to give anyone following here that missed out a first crack at it.

You would probably be better off putting it on the BST now as it might not get noticed buried in this thread, especially since Russ posted earlier that they are all gone, people might not check this thread. I am sure on the BST it will go real quick. Good luck 😀

I posted here first exactly for that reason. I wanted the person who had been following this thread and missed out to maybe have a better chance.

I will probably post it to B/S/T this evening or tomorrow unless I change my mind and decide there is no such thing as too many Ti lights. 😗

Just received my Ti body today - excellent work russtang! Technical question for all you titanium metalurgists:

Can the stonewashed version be polished to shiny? If so, how would I do it? And what about the knurling - can that be polished? I love the body, but I really want a bright (shiny) one. If this isn't possible, would anybody with the shiny be interested in trading for a stonewash?

Dad you can polish out the non knurled areas without to much problem, but I don't think you can do anything about the knurling, but if you polish the rest I think the knurling would be less pronounced.

Thanks olrac! What's your recommendation on polishing compound, super fine steel wool, or other suggestions?

I used a 1200 grit SP and finished it off with Metal Glo Professional polish and a Dremel buff wheel and a whole lotta patience:laughing: (which isn't my strong suit)

PS Metal Glo is basically like Flitz

Hmmm. Not sure I want to take a chance of screwing it up. I think I'll wait to see if anyone wants to trade first. 😀 Thanks for the reply!
