I was given an M40C for Christmas. I like it a lot overall, but I don't really like the reverse clicky. It looks like it would be easy to swap the switch out if I knew what kind to buy.

Does anyone know of a forward clicky switch that will fit the same footprint on the battery adapter for this light and have an appropriate current rating? I can't see any manufacturers markings on the switch.

If I have to I'll fit something else to it but I'd like to make this as easy as possible.

Has anyone checked the current draw on this light?

Thanks for your help.

Bit of a necro post here, but I just put a forward clicky in my M40C. I stripped it from a Fenix PD32. It took a bit of finagling to make it fit but it works. Finding a switch that is a direct drop-in will likely be tricky.
