So I was in Hobby Lobby with my wife the other evening and while I was waiting on her to finish looking at the scrapbooking stuff I came across this box and thought it would make a good box for storing batteries.

It has two levels, the upper level is just the right size for Li-Ions and such and the bottom is the right size for AAA, AA, C, and D sized batteries.

Works for me.

Just thought I would pass it on.

battery tray for the lithiums looks great...but for the alkalines... :caution:
Lets just say you only need one leak from one tired-of-living cell to ruin the contacts of quite a few cells around it.

What I would do is put them in small ziplocs before putting them in the tray, as from the looks of it you seem to have plenty of room around and between the cells.

good find! :)

Those Alikes will last my wife and daughter about a month. I don't see them getting very old. I actually bought the box for the AA's but the Li-Ions fit in so well I decided to put the all together.

Ah well, it seems to wonders of rechargeable batteries havent reached some people yet.
Seriously, why would anybody _want_ to burn thorugh a couple of disposables per _day_?

I have tried rechargable batteries with the wife and daughter....

When they go dead they throw them in the trash as if they were Alkalines. I got tired of them throwing good batteries away so they get kirklands and I get Hybrids (Imedion's from Powerex are my favorite).
