found this link on eBay...

I started a thread on this light on the Light It Up Forum. Really hideous color.

There isn't even an E-mail address on their website; I'd like to ask them who the totally sight impaired individual gets the credit for picking the case color, and other things; like is it water resistant? It uses a *rocker switch*, for no reason I can fathom. (and I got that bit of information from the one for sale on eBay). I'm sure you can make a rocker switch water resistant, but it's sure not what I'd choose when designing a new product.

This light has potential, but there's no information *at all* on the website, and the price is pretty steep, at $80.

There is an e-mail link on the site, but it`s done as a Flash button, if your PC doesn`t support Flash you won`t see it. Here: [email protected] .

Interesting light, though I agree about the colour not being exactly the right choice. Not that there`s anything wrong with purple (I have purple bits on the Torch Reviews Site, to clash nicely with the orange

), but I think they would sell more if they were the classic "Flashlight Black" or even silver or something more neutral.

I recognise the type of switch they`re using. Not quite the silly choice that it seems, those little rockers are pretty robust and reliable, and smooth to operate. Remember of course that this is a 3 C cell light, so a tail switch would be out of the question, and anything`s better than a twist-head. Click on/off seems a natural choice, but a good reliable click switch can be farily hard to find for a small company, those little rockers are common, cheap and easy (I like`em).

I wonder if this is just the beginning of a trickle out of the flood-gates, behind which we will see a vast array of commercial Luxeon Star lights? I`m half tempted to order that one but I think I`ll wait a little while and see what else comes along first (or if they offer it in any other colours

.
