Four 26700 Emoli in 4D M@g possible?

Has anyone fit four 26700 emoli cells into a 4D M@g host?

Setup would be Osram 84447 with AW's incand switch in 4D m@g. I don't have a 4D in hand but my estimate indicates the emolis are slightly longer than a 4D will accomodate. Will AW's switch provide additional battery space? If it saves 1/2 inch I believe the emolis will fit a 4D (minus tailcap spring).

IT will be tight but it should be doable. In addition to the space saved by the AW switch, you gain about 2cm length due to the fact that the AW cells can fit all the way into the tailcap, unlike D-Cells. You can dremel away the insluation at the base of the tailcap, and either use a small spring, or a sponge with copper braid wrapped around it to make contact with the cells. If that still isn't enough, you may also need to remove the retainer ring used to hold the switch in place and install the switch higher up to squeeze in slightly more space. If you do that, I know for sure you can have just over 28cm length.
