Well just got my LUMENITE II. This thing rocks. Ramps up and down great and has one hell of a beam on her. My favorite so far.

I received the slide box with my recent order. Frankly I don't think it makes any difference which box you folks select as your standard: I recommend going with whichever version is most cost effective and easiest to manage. Writing from a self-interested perspective, I want you to stay focused on the lights. The wooden box is a nice touch, however the choice of standard top-open or nifty slide-open is of no importance to me whatsoever. (The wooden box is unique, though, I gotta' admit.)

How can you choose? Both boxes look fantastic! It is nice to receive your flashlight in a delightful wooden box 😁
