Okay I give up -- I have been trying to get this thing open to change out the batteries (which are dead as doornails) and have only succeeded in tearing off the rubber cover of the tailcap switch. It is a Streamlight Jr., about like a MiniMag AA, and will send it off to the first one who claims to know how to take it apart, at least as far as to change the batteries. Mebbe Lambda can do an LS mod to it (no spinning the head to turn it on and off).

Good Luck.

I am not quite sure how but i can get it apart without breaking it if you are willing to send it to me.

Hi Pete,

Check your e-mail. I'll send it out free (but USA only, not overseas) to first who responds to my e-mail.

If you'd really like to get it open, and keep it, just get the tailcap off whether you ruin the cap or not. The tail cap is the method of opening it. You can replace the tailcap by ordering a Mini-Mag tailcap switch from BrightGuy. It's basically the same tailcap switch.

if you decide you want to keep it, let me know, i won't be mad.

Mr Bulk, glad to see you were able to get registered here at the CPF. Looks like we'll be bumping into eachother here and at the Airgun Forum now.

Okay it's over, I sent the little Streamlight Jr. out today to the earliest guy. Good luck with it!

RonM, thanks for the greeting, see ya over at AGF as well as here now.
