Nice catch.
A superb setup and a very nice tint to boot.
Had same dropin in my G3 years ago and still miss that setup.
Yeah, I'm pretty pumped. I plan to use it on my Malkoff Maglite adapter with Eneloops, haha.

Plus, an old style body MD2, so now I can get less confused, hahah.

a what now? I think I have to answer no since I am not sure what that is :anyone:
CCT = Kelvin/color temperature. eg. 3000k, 5000k, etc..
DUV = Level above or below the BBL line for tint.

I'm trying to determine exactly what emitters are in this as well as the color temperature. I suspect they may actually be 219c but you may have the order details so would know better.

Ok, yeah you're right the Mega M6 is 219C, it was the Malkoff that was B.

From the order email:

Mega M6 Flashlight - 12x LED - 4x 18650
- Mega M6 LED: Nichia 219C 70+ CRI

CCT = Kelvin/color temperature. eg. 3000k, 5000k, etc..
DUV = Level above or below the BBL line for tint.

I went a step further and looked up the old order page for the Mega M6 on archive.org. I found that this light is not actually 9000 lumens, but is actually 10000 lumens!!!! 🤷‍♂️

use archive.org on this address if you want to see all LED offerings:

For this light:

Nichia 219C 70+ CRI ***MTN favorite in this light***
  • Neutral White - 5000K
  • 10000+ OTF lumens

Full text on the Mega M6 from archive.org page:

Crazy output. Versatile. Enough said! 10,000+ out-the-front lumens maximum (depending on LEDs), sub-lumen minimum output in a handheld package.

No extras, no manuals to read, just the functionality you need to harness the awesome power of this light.

Because this light is custom built for each order, the light will take 3-4 weeks to ship after placing your order. Any items ordered together with the light will not ship until the light ships!

How does this light compare to the Noctigon Meteor M43?

Compared to the Meteor, the Mega M6:

  • Has higher peak output (add approximately 25%-30% out-the-front lumens for any given LED)
  • Has a much lower (sub-lumen) moonlight level
  • Can run longer at the same output level before overheating (has more surface area to dissipate heat)
  • Has a simpler UI (STAR Momentary)
    • Easy access to the lowest or highest mode from off
    • Predictable
    • Easier to learn
  • Is longer (see comparison pictures above)
  • Is heavier at 17.15 oz. The Meteor is 12.9 oz.
Recommended Batteries:

This light requires 10A+ continuous batteries. Button top only! DO NOT run this light on NCR18650B batteries or other lower drain batteries! The performance will not be good, and your batteries will not last long before they die

While this light can run on protected batteries, most circuits are not up to the task. The EVVA 3x MOSFET protection circuits the recomendations below will work, but you will lose some output. Because this light runs cells in parallel, and has low voltage protection, unprotected button tops are recommended.

omg cant belive no one hast taken the zebra love that light maybe if its here when im not broke ill take it

I would have gotten it, but I couldn't wait and bought one a few weeks ago down by the eBay. wish I had waited . . .Especially for $60!!

I'll take the D25A2. PM sent
Oooh, you're going to like it (especially for that amazing price). I have the non-strobe version (P200A2) with the XP-L HI, and it's a neat 2xAA light. The rotating head feature is really cool. With the multimode, it's not as predictable as the D25A (which is only 2 mode), but you can get used to it pretty quick.
