Friction free LED bicycle lighting system

Figured y'all would like this... freelights

It's a friction-free bicycle lighting system that uses LED's. I have a feeling this guy's invention will get bought up buy some big manufacturer. Take a look before it loses its homemade look.

A big manufacturer has already done this and it didn't go over well. I have a Leader (a Quebec, Canada company) "Red Alert" which is a 3-LED tail light powered by the same generation scheme. In 94 they had a patent pending. Don't know if it was granted. The light was actually made in Canada. I found a bin of them for $2. CDN in a dollar store!

Since no mechanical parts are touching, the system can be friction free. However, that doesn't mean that it doesn't require energy to drive the system. You can't create something from nothing to paraphrase Mr. Newton.

It takes force to move the parts of a generator through the magnetic fields. Not saying the product is a bad idea. Eliminating friction is good, but let's not fool ourselves into believing this system doesn't still create drag on the wheel.
