What was he thinking?

Yeah.... For every worthless piece of human garbage out there who thinks that Assassination is a perfectly justified tactic to use during an election campaign, your assassin failed again!:

I think someone needs to let the mainstream media know that if the next attempt succeeds because they keep calling Trump, Hitler and a "threat to democracy", it's going to be open season on them next. They need to stop promoting Trump Derangement Syndrome before more people get hurt. We already lost one good man at the first attempt. His blood is on their hands. Harris is still spewing the same rhetoric. She put Tulsi Gabbard on the no fly/ terrorist watch list for supporting Trump. If anyone's a threat to democracy, it's Harris and Biden. Trump should be way more protected after the first attempt. Biden and Harris want him dead and aren't allowing him to get the security he needs. That's the only reason this second attempt was possible. If Trump dies, Biden and Harris will be responsible because they willfully withheld needed security from their political opponent in order to get him out of the way and remain in power. They impeached him twice over nothing. Then they tried to bankrupt him with lawsuits totaling over a half a billion dollars. They raided his home, went through his wife's closet, and took pictures of his kid's dresser drawers to scare him into quitting. Then they slapped him with 34 felonies based on expired misdemeanors and a random selection of three options by the jury with no evidence that the decision was unanimous in any way giving over 130 years of prison time. When all that failed, they try to get him killed, twice. When can we vote the bums out?

By the way, the shooter had a Go Pro to record the killing. Lone Wolf shooters don't do this. It leaves the potential for incriminating evidence of their crime behind at the scene. The only reason to record the event is if the shooter was a hired gun and needed proof of the hit in order to get paid. The ceramic tiles in the backpacks on the fence were there as bulletproof shields to provide protection from being fired at once the shot was taken. This was a professional.

Absolutely. Modern-day bullet-proof vests are made out of ceramics.
Some coward(s) absolutely paid him.
Speaking of cowards, unfortunately the mainstream media has always hid behind the First Amendment, and will continue to do so.

I don't agree that because to guy had a go pro that meant he was hired, anymore than youngsters with a go pro on their dash board are not necessarily professional race car drivers. It simply means the twisted sicko wanted have it on video to show it off later.

It's a shame a candidate for office in America can no longer safely play a round of golf in a public setting. The even more sad part is those that acuse Donald Trump these things are the ones guilty of doing the things they acuse him of and many people do not know that.

As details arrive it seems the would-be shooter had wanted to invade Ukraine to kick out the Rusky's and claimed to have 10k Afghan fighters waiting to help him. He'd been interviewed by tv reporters and big newspapers a number of times. He is an outspoken critic of the government yet his truck has a bumper sticker supporting the current President.

Now for the tin hat type: how was the guy able to stay in his "nest" for 12 hours before being discovered? Is the secret service that lame these days? Is the current president actually safe? Or the current candidate that replaced him on the ballot?

You put a bumper sticker supporting the President on your truck before going out to shoot him to keep the Secret Service from zeroing in on your get away vehicle before and after the hit. It makes you look like you're not a threat so they move on. It does not mean he was a Trump supporter ever.

Edit: When you said he had a bumper sticker of the current President, did you mean Biden?

He had/has a Biden/Harris sticker on his bumper.

Now to the how'd he know question: it's common knowledge Trump plays golf on Sunday morning. Plus the fact a gigantic air plane with the word Trump covering the sides was in the local airport, which means he was at home. Now if like Air Force one, there were backups then he might be able to confuse folks wondering where he is currently located. But in grand Trump style he chooses to let everybody know "hey that's Donald Trump's personal taxi".

Well, this definitely belongs here. The issue is that when you do something like this, you also injure innocent bystanders who happen to be close by....

OMG!
Right smack in the smash & grab capital with connected welfare housing!

Developer Thrive Living plans to use a five-acre site near Coliseum Street and La Brea Avenue in the Baldwin Village neighborhood to build 5035 Coliseum - a mixed-use complex that features the members-only warehouse store and residential rental units.
The retail-housing project will feature 800 apartment units above the new Costco.
A total of 184 units will be set aside for Section 8 low-income tenants, according to the developer. The remaining units will be offered as non-subsidized affordable and workforce housing.
Thrive Living says that the new state-of-the art Costco will have fresh produce, healthy food options, optical services, a pharmacy and delivery services to help local businesses.
"5035 Coliseum is the first new housing community in Los Angeles to move forward under state law AB 2011, which helps streamline approvals for apartment and mixed-use projects that include low-income housing," Thrive Living said in a press release.
The project is the first mixed-use development in the country to have Costco as its anchor retail tenant.
L.A. Mayor Karen Bass and Councilmember Heather Hutt will be among those attending the groundbreaking ceremony Wednesday morning.

Actually, this was a very targeted strike by the Israelis to take down the leadership of Hezbollah. Israel has done this in the past to single individuals with cell phones, but not on this scale. They block the transmissions so the group thinks there's something wrong with the devices and sends them in for service. The Israelis intercept the shipment and load the devices with explosives and send them back "fixed". The terrorists have no idea until a signal is sent and the devices are detonated. If there is collateral damage, it is minimal as the explosive is limited to what can fit in a pager which is strapped to a terrorist. Just think of how many people would have died if these terrorists plotted their next attack with a secure network.

Well, in case the gubment wondered who all were in the Hezbola, they now have a pretty good answer.
They don't give everyone in Hezbollah a secure cell phone or pager. Just the decision makers. This was their leadership. Now they are going to have to rethink how to communicate with each other. Not that many actually died from this, but a lot were looking at the pagers to read them when they blew up in their faces and blinded them. They are going to be licking their wounds and looking for moles in their organization for weeks before they even attempt to try something big against Israel again. But I wouldn't expect them to give up. They'll find another way to get a secure network in the future and then I hope Israel is ready for them then.

Well, that's going to be convenient for robbing and looting. Why walk a few blocks away to steal merch., when you can do so in your own building!

I understand what you're saying, but in the long-run this type of attack will only create more terrorists. This group could not have had a more successful recruitment drive had they bribed people with $100,000 each to join their organization. Other world leaders will condemn it as cowardly. And, on top of that, that disgusting terrorist group is going to retaliate.... against Jewish civilians.

What Israel did was very impressive. But this falls under the category of Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should.

Also, Day 2 Round 2. This time; walkie-talkies....

The pager explosions were retaliation for Hezbollah bombing a secret facility in Israel housing a group of Secret Mossad agents. The ones responsible for this attack were the survivors of that group. They wanted payback, and they got it.

If they just did one wave of explosions, I might agree that it could just breed more terrorists. However, by doing another wave, the terrorists don't know if that's it, or if another attack could come at any time. Could be a clock, a watch, a T.V., a car, a flashlight, a weight scale, a microwave, a boom box, or any electronic piece of equipment purchased within several months that suddenly explodes. This thought alone should keep them shaking in their boots for awhile and thinking twice about messing with Israel.

Now for other counties condemning Israel's actions, that is a concern, especially with the U.N. meeting in New York this weekend to try to get Biden to sign the U.S. into a treaty for basically a one world government. If we lose our sovereignty over that, we won't be able to help Israel.

Keep in mind, these are fanatical Muslims who will happily off themselves if it means taking out those they hate. Some will quake in their sandals, most will be foaming at the mouth to retaliate.... and some of that could happen right here in America. Amazingly, NYPD is not on high alert for possible new terror attacks.

They want to kill Jews in Jihad thinking that will get them 72 virgins when they die. They don't want their crotch and legs blown off having a pager at their waistline and survive never being able to please a woman. I'd say this is an excellent deterrent to terrorism. The Israelis could do better by saying they put a strip of bacon inside each pager to put the fear of God in these terrorists.
