The realization that I need a walk-in gun safe
:) I just shoot more and buy less, so my 30+ year-old safe is still big enough.

After I started loading and my supplies were all shipped to me, I was going to the range more and the gun store less. I was having more fun loading and shooting more, but spending less on guns (and a bigger safe;-). Of course I do have to buy rimfire stuff.

I haven't bought a new gun in 20 years, and still carry the same gun every day that I bought 20 years ago. The good news is that I'm extremely familiar with it, which is a big positive with carry guns and flashlights when things go South. When I was very young, I had to trade a gun to get a new one, and while that didn't remain true, it might have cultivated a good practice. Guns haven't changed as much as flashlights have in 20 years though (EDIT: in ways really significant to me), so I did develop an 'issue' with buying new flashlights during that time. It's also true that a rolling stone gathers no moss, and the incredible number of times I've moved in my life has likely controlled any urge to 'collect' anything. I now anticipate buying very few new flashlights going forward from here, but please don't remind me I said that in another 20 years (not that I'll be around):)

@raggie33 : I loved my 10/22 when I was a kid, but had to trade it to buy something else I wanted at the time. It might be the best .22LR rifle ever made(?). I had a Weaver 4x on mine. I'd like to replace it for old times' sake if I have spare funds sometime. I'm pretty sure there's room for one more in my safe, but if not, I have something I could trade...........

Re: stores locking up merch, drug stores are locking up almost everything in many locations. It's not just ammo, tobacco, and abusable OTC meds etc. anymore, and it's now just a (very sad) sign of the times:-(

After the last decade or so, I guess we're lucky they still sell ammo in stores. I bet in CA where I used to live it probably takes a background check with prints and all to buy ammo now - maybe even a waiting period to boot!

i don mind it being locked up as much as i hate there is no one to get it from case for you.. and are Walmart is the worse omg its almost worth the 3 hour round trip to go to the next Walmart or academy sports

I'd hate to be in local retail
I consume almost no media news, but I recently became aware that systems have been developed, and retail is likely spending a fortune(?) to begin implementing, which literally equip the shelves with remotely-controllable access to items by customers without requiring the headcount to support direct employee assistance / control at the item location.

No one wants to work a real job anymore even if they have no skills, if they do they expect to make a huge minimum wage retail can't afford to pay, and the lowlife scum are robbing them blind anyway. I guess soon a retail location will look like an Automat in NYC 100 years ago.

All he had to do was read a few comments on his video. Lots of viewers knew. Oh well. On to making a new video. Truth be damned.
In fairness, it's YouTube. Comments section is usually a cesspool full of immature trolls. Can't blame the guy if he never bothered to read any of them.

To infinity and beyond!

is it double stacked mag?

is it double stacked mag?
Yes, but it is not real wide. More Like semi double stack. They give you a plastic thing to help load it correctly. I watched a ton of vids before buying and no one can stop shooting it. Even Taurus haters admit (reluctantly) it is great. It seems Taurus has stepped up a few notches.
