From the "What were they thinking file?!?"

Benzoin tincture is amazing for increasing the adhesion of band-aids and tape. A tiny little amount is all that's needed.

Why not just test each stove individually with a timer, rather than at the same time?
A smarter man would of done that btw I'm all healed from that just a bit of mark on top of lip I think I was lucky couldn't been way worse. . But what a crap week lol even missed out on sweet deal on a nice battery powered lawn mower . But I'm still a lucky duck it was such a pretty day was riding motorcycle in shorts last week it was like 17 degrees lol.

One time, about 30 years ago, a sales associate looked at the back of mine and refused to take it because apparently my signature rubbed off. So showed him my driver's license. Then I re-signed my card and made my purchase. Literally the only time anyone ever checked the back of my card for the signature.

You know what else is funny about them looking at the back of our cards, they can then get our CVC code which nobody should ever see. On most cards that's the 3 digit code on the back of the card only, and I think some may have 4 digits like American Express. I think they are always numbers like 739 or whatever. They should not be allowed to see this info.
I think I will cover mine up with a small piece of tape now. My card is relatively new so nobody has seen it yet except me and the bank.

The CVC code is supposed to be a security code but if everyone on earth knows it, it's not very secure 🙂

Quality Band-Aid brands are amazing for increasing the adhesion of band-aids and tape. No additional potions needed, which is very nice in the field. 🙂

As far as excessive bleeding goes, might want to keep some pads around. The type women use. Get the Super Absorbent ones. Great for stopping bleeding.

Best friend of almost 35 years nearly died 20 years ago when his Dodge Neon went head-first into a Jeep Commander being driven by a woman. He was hurt. She wasn't. Thankfully he was wearing his seat-belt and the car had air-bags. None of it was good. Besides getting hurt, his car was obviously totaled. It was paid off. So now he had to dip into his savings to buy another car. Which he did, after he recovered. I'm sorry, but some things in Life are genuinely bad. No, "Maybe so, maybe not."

(BTW, the other driver tried to claim that she was hurt in the collision. When his car insurance agent found out what she was driving, compared to what he was driving, he gave the woman a quick call on the phone. She mysteriously dropped her injury claim immediately afterwards.)

I don't like to think about what could have happened. He was dating a miserable skank at the time. After dumping her 6 months later, he met his wife of now 20 years. A genuinely good-hearted woman who stuck by him during the worst period of his Life, a few years later. Which I will not be going into.

I remember the skank and a few of her friends were hanging out with us and a couple of our friends at the time, at Dave & Busters in Upstate NY. All of us having dinner in the restaurant. One of her friends gave him a hard slap on the back. The horrendous pain on his face and the horrifying silent scream made it clear he was no where remotely healed up. Her friend tried to laugh it off. It wasn't done with Malice. But if it had happened a 2nd time, I'd be sitting in jail that night for initiating violence for the first time in my life. Her friends were junkie stoners. About as imposing as an old-fashioned mic. stand.

Depending on the value of the automobile it may be wise to get collision coverage.
I do not normally get it, but a while back when I purchased a new car I had to get it.
I don't have it anymore though I have an older car so it's not worth it.
Some friends of mine have it, but one of the cars is brand new. The other is older but he is afraid to cancel it.
