FS 1500L 8AA to 2D Nickel M*g -sold

Like new FM 3D shortened to smaller than 2D, Nickel quad bore to accept any AA cells. Battery holder has charging jack can serial 8 AA charge through tailcap hole. Male charging jack included. Body machined, head reshaped to conical with fine fins for heat management. Run WA 1164 or other suitable bulbs.

Comes with 8 eneloops, modamag smo reflector, Northern light's bi-pin adaptor, borofloat lens.

Wow, that is a cool torch! You could do a lot of very interest bulb combinations in addition to AW's mystery bulb, like the Tungsram 56580 and the OSRAM 64430.

I already have another plated quad bore version from FM or I would bid on this one.

Thanks DMC, it is a versitile Mod. with the ability to put out a lot of lumen using Top Chinese 64430 version, WA 1164, Tungsram 56580, and for LO bulb swap a dummy cell for one AA then run 1111 or philips 5761.

An aurora hot wire kit can turn a minimag into a fire starter. So, yes it will start fire given the usuall correct type paper and time.
