Yes, I packed all the orders yesterday. They will all be sent this morning. I was waiting on a order from cutter.com.au, so I could build a unit up and do final testing!
They turned out great!

Mine arrived!!!
The body is excellent Matt. Finish and form seem top notch. Great job and thanks.
I have all my electronics - just waiting on the lens order to come in. I'll do most of my assembly tomorrow regardless.
Matt - how to you suggest to hold the PCB's. Glue or paste? And the Maxflex - just a blob of silicon?
Yeah I sent yours off yesterday, because you are in Australia 🙂
I am in the process of writing a guide. I will update the build log thread later today.
Has anyone done the math on run times for 6xXPG R5 at various MaxFlex settings from say a 2.4ah 4x18650. I guess about 2hours at max - am I right (forgive my feeble math ability)?
Got mine today. I can't wait to get it assembled
Matthew, the light arrived today. t looks fantastic. Just need to order the other bits now and get it built up.
Matthew, I don't remember if I mentioned this in one of the earlier threads, so please forgive if it's a duplication. I wonder if you could make a battery box designed to fit a commodity battery pack (I'm specifically thinking of the Sony NP-F970 camcorder pack but other possibilities exist), to get rid of some of the DIY issues of this product or a future one? The NP-F970 is a 2s3p (6x18650) 7.4v pack capable of running 35 watt video lights, maybe 1.5x the size of a cigarette pack. There are also smaller 2-cell and 4-cell versions, in case you wanted to save weight or had to use two packs for 14.8v. They are available from a lot of different manufacturers, there are snap-in chargers galore for them, etc. So they'd sidestep the whole issue of having you ship batteries and chargers with the lights.
Hmm, I suggested the NP-F970 because it's an InfoLithium L series battery and those have been around for a long time and lots of stuff supports them, but maybe they are going out of style as some chargers have been discontinued. Still, they are pretty easy to find:

$20.87 includes a 2-cell version of that battery.
Here's another ($16.95 charger only): http://www.adorama.com/Als/ProductPage/PQRTC115.html
Here's a more expensive but faster one: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/579802-REG/Pearstone_UFC30_UF_C30_Ultra_Fast_30.html
Note 30 minute charge time is probably for smaller batteries, a big one like an NP-F970 will take a lot longer.
NP-F970 takes about 12 hours to charge on my camcorder and the 2-cell takes 3-4 hours. So maybe that expensive charger can charge the 970 in a couple hours, shrug.
How do I mount the battery, while in use by the light?
