For sale a mod i done with the Trustfire R2-M3(surefire M3 clone).
List of mods:
1. Shimmed and AA epoxied the MC-E M rank WC on the heat sink
2. Beefed up the heatsink with a cut down finned ramsink AA epoxied inside the heatsink module.
3. Added an extra 4th L7135 to this circuit board to make the current 1400mA

4. Wired it to the MC-E 2S2P to get 2800mA
5. Changed the reflector with a 42*33mm stippled one to remove donut in beam
6. Added 42.5mm UCL AR coated lense from flashlightlens.com
Measures around 600lumens out the front with my lightbox. No visible donut beyond 1 foot, very clean, neutral white beam.
Host is in mint condition and has a nice coating olive drab HAIII. Total length is 21cm.
Currently set to lo-med-high, has other modes(strobe,sos, blink) available through other modes. Reversed clicky for easier control over changing modes.
Draws 1400mAh at the tailcap end(2x18650 in series=total current draw 2800mA)
Runtime on high is around 1.5hours.
Beam at 1m
Comes with 2xTrustfire 2400mAh 18650 cells(on their first charge)
