Hi Wisti...

I have four Arc4+`s in my collection right now. I`d say that the 500mA KI`s are brighter than two of the Arc4`s and about the same brightness as the other two Arc4`s...all on high. The hotspot on the KI`s is a little wider and better defined, though, than the more concentrated hotspot of my Arc4`s.

I also suspect that the "Luxeon Lottery" enters into the picture, as well as the 500mA setting.

Edit: I had no doubt about Mike´s statement , I just wanted to get the impressions of a man who knows many different flashlights . (And I did hope Carpe Diem would tell me the KI is not only brighter than the Arc 4+ but also brighter than the Beast .) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
