I have a beautiful Tain AA borealis and fried the light engine. Tried to get another and emailed Yitsan for the past year. No response, about four emails since January 2019. Hope he is ok and just doing something else.

I never used mine, just turned it on/off a few times. However, now even with fully charged battery, it only glow very very dim and no changes to any button press.
Anyone can fix this?

OMG, you're right on! I'd never thought of bad switch.:thinking:
Since I have most if not all of Tain's creations, I thought I would just took the other tail switch to try. But this one has different tail switch buried inside with no tail cap!
Out come the good old alligator clip test wire and BAMP all is good.

Now only if I figure the way to remove the the brass retainer ring with 2 tiny holes for removal and the switch supplier, all will be okay.
I may have to fashion a custom tool for this job :thinking:

Snap ring pliers are perfect but longer needle nose usually does the trick

Thanks but the holes are very very small more like pinhole!
Old pair of hair tweezers and Dremel tool did the trick!
Anyone know the switch suppliers?
These 3 don't have it.
