Sold/Expired FS: OFC heatsink for minimagAA.

Mariposaoyako,

Great heatsink design!

I've got two old mini mags sitting in a drawer I'd like to revive. I was interested in running an MC-E (or P7 if space permits) powered by one AW 14500 cell. I am worried about heat issues though. Since I only need one cell, I was wondering if it is possible to extend the base of your design further down into the body tube to provide more heatsink mass? Cost would be more, but I would like to drive my emitter at full power for as long as possible.

Thanks!!!

Hill

Hello? Is anyone there? :poke: I sent payment last Wed and have yet to hear back from you. Please PM with any updates.

I apologize to you for delay of reply.
I was in hospital from 3/12/09 to 3/23/09.

To supasizefries,
PM sent.

To 4Ever, Galiphrey,
Thank you.

To Hill,

It is very difficult. Sorry.

thanks,

@Hill,
If mariposaoyako can't do it for you then I would go somewhere and find a 14mm copper rod, cut it to length and epoxy it to the bottom of the heatsink. If you are only using one AA sized cell then you could make the heatsink 50mm longer.

These heatsinks are REALLY great products and provide better heatsinking and fixation than the usual sandwich design. I hope more of these will be available.

spencer,

I have looked into ordering small quantities of copper or aluminum rod stock online. Problem is shipping is a killer. That plus copper is hugely expensive and would make for a very expensive minimag mod.

thanks for the suggestion!!

Free bump for you too.
I'd probably need one to two more of these (plus special arrangement) but I'm running short on driver boards. It's going to take a while before I gather all the necessary components. I'll let you know by then.

In the meantime, keep these available.
So good, this is going to drive M@g modders away from tranditional AA sandwich assembling wwwwww
