Finally got around to mounting this up.

I wish there was a betetr way to get the board mounted into the heatsink (other than thermal glue).

In any case, its a great setup. I put in a high CRI seoul and a Mad Max plus driver. Just beautiful flood, short/medium range throw with a smooth beam.

It really livens up my old minimag. Highly recommended.

BTW, I suggest leaving more space around the mounting ring next time, or just making it flush wit the top of the heatsink (can be filed down). The lip on the ring caused me a lot of grief mouting the led and wiring it up.

I'll file mine down next time...

BTW, what other drivers from the shoppe would be good for this? I like the Mad Max plus and Lite so far...
