Funny or Not?

That will teach those pesky embers! If you want to use your flaming tongues around here, you're gonna need a license...or move to San Francisco.

Couldn't fill a Reservoir if his life depended on it, even with record rainfalls and an ocean right next to you; much more of an oil man. At least he is not opposed to sharing the future United States Ambassador to Greece!

Paraphrasing: today on capital hill;

- Senator: will you guarentee that all generals will have to wait 10 years before joining the private sector?
- Nominee: I won't guarentee anything before consulting the president.

- Senator: will you guarentee you yourself won't join the private sector along with the other generals for 10 years?
- Nominee: I'm not a general.

Blue LA voters are pissed now but tend to have short memories. I think they smoke too much of the wacky ..?.. They are already blaming any and everyone but themselves for the lives they live and the troubles they've caused.
While some might change aisles, most will either keep the status quo or move.

Just a few days ago, realtors on the east coast were saying that lots of ppl have been asking for apts/housing that were available. It started out as looking for rentals but has now shifted to wanting to make a purchase.

A lot of ppl have been moving out of California for the past several years. I read an article several months ago that stated 75% of those that left (before the fires) voted red, from there it was split between blue, independent, or didn't want to say. They all moved to red/purple states.
I'm sure a larger percentage that are moving now are blue voters.

Blue L.A. voters aren't blue anymore. Once you have rich liberal Hollywood celebrities have their homes burn down, find out the hydrants ran out of water, their Mayor was out of the country when it happened, the fire department was cut by $18 million, the Governor is blaming it all on global warming after blowing up dams to save Salmon and sending fresh water to the ocean to save a two inch fish, and looters are robbing the rich neighborhoods dressed as firefighters, they've had enough. These same rich liberals are now saying "screw the Delta Smelt, give us our water." They are arming up to shoot looters. They aren't against guns anymore. They have been officially red pilled. I think it will be dangerous to be a considered a democrat in California soon. If you are one, best to get a real job now before you are considered unhireable.

Sorry, I meant Democrat lawmakers need to find a real job and it might be dangerous in the future for Democrat lawmakers. I didn't mean people who voted Democrat. I'm sure they have real jobs. Someone will get blamed for these fires. Likely the lawmakers, Governor, mayor, etc. The people who voted for them, mostly Democrats themselves, have an ax to grind after all the unnecessary destruction that could have been avoided had we had competent leadership. It's a good time to retire and get away before the army of lawyers show up if you're a Democrat politician.

In my experience voters do indeed have short memories. We have it in my country. Party X screws up big time but at the next election "we" vote for them again. I can't say more. I can already hear them at my front door!

Would not have mattered if you had 50 filled reservoirs.

Would not have mattered if you had 50 filled reservoirs.
"we" are already forgetting about the 100mph wind gusts and rock steady 60mph winds in canyons and inaccessible hills.

Still, there is regular maintenance that needs to be done annually. Fill the reservoirs. Fund for supplies. Homeowners clear brush and have an emergency plan in place and drill at least once a year with your whole family. etc etc etc
