Yes, of course. I do wish that the death penalty didn't take a full lifetime to achieve. Some dark individuals sit in prison for years before getting what they deserve. Family members/friends have to keep living their lives knowing the perp might not even get deleted.

I'm not saying I like the punishment. I am saying that laws are in place in hopes of deterring such actions in the first place. Failing that purpose, punishment is justified. Don't do the crime if you can't do the time. Don't do it. 🎶

New York quite a few years back had the death Penalty. But everyone knew it wouldn't last. Especially since the pompous, arrogant D.A. at the time said he didn't give a damn about the Will of the People, and would never ask for it in any case as long as he was District Attorney. Soon afterwards, it was repealed. So yeah, the shooter has nothing to worry about, in terms of himself getting executed.

As for Mr. Thompson, he was on his way to a meeting with a group of United Healthcare members to address their grievances regarding medical coverage. Oh! Sorry no, That's where he should have been going. He was actually on his way to meet with potential investors to make more money for United (and himself). Apparently his luxury boat was now too small to sail to his favorite vacation destination. Had to have a new, bigger one! So what if a bunch of United members were at home, screaming in pain or dying before their time because the man running United made sure his under-paid lackeys turned down legit claims. His demise came quick, clean with no pain or suffering.

He was treated FAR better than he treated the sick, desperate, and dying members who had United as their healthcare provider.
