Well I have a G3 I would like to make rechargable I found myself using my E2D the other night when I was cleaning my car wich I can mostly do t night as I get home during twilight. The E2D worked great but it is my edc and I use it freguently so the batteries were not full. My U2 is also great for this but still isnt rechargable. So that leaves me to my G3 works great but eats the batteries. Were can I get it and what do I need to make the G3 rechargable with the P90, also I just put an order in for the BOG Q5 drop in can that be used with the same rechargable configuration as the P90, and how does the BOG Q5 compare to the P91 in terms of output? Sorry for all the questions and long post I am new to this. Greg

Also any ideas on the run times I can expect on primaries vs rechargables, on the P90 and BOG Q5? Thanks. Greg

First off I would make you ED2 rechargable. You need a Lumens factory lamp and rechargle battery/s and charger. If you need more info on this let me know.

As far as the G3 goes just get 2 x 17500 rechargable batteries. You can use you P90, buy a LED drop in or use the lumens factory 9V lamps. The G3 is not the best host for a high power LED (like BOG Q5) due to heat build up. Plenty of people still do it, but it is not as ideal as a metal body light.

As far as you options and runtime go have a read of this: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=161536

(that should keep you busy for a while)
