GDup compatible in Aleph A2 head question

Hello CPF experts. I am looking into assembling a Aleph type A2 (Delghi Ti) head onto a McGizmo Ti clicky body. I would like to run the GDup Cree or maybe the GDup Seoul LE with an Mc20 reflector. Will this combo work? Thank you much for any info.

I think the easiest combination would be to use the Seoul LE with a Mc-R20-S reflector. This reflector has been modified for optimum focus with a Seoul LED. I think a Cree can be used with the Mc-R20 but the reflector has to be modified so that the Cree sits closer to the window.

The McR20-S will work with a Cree with no mod to the reflector. The Cree ring does have to go up into the reflector for proper focus. This puts the reflector close to the contacts on the emitter, so insulation is necessary.

Thanks for the info. I like both versions of the GDup LE Cree vs Seoul. It sounds like the GDup-S with the McR20-S is a total drop-in.
