Anyone see one of these new GE bulbs?
Are they just tinted blue to filter
out some of the yellow light from
a normal incandescent bulb?

Wow, looks like the "old world light guys" have taken notice of the LED Revolution taking place and are trying to find a way to stay relevent..........too bad, still an energy hog compared to flourecent for home lighting, and too electron hungry at low power levels compared to LEDs. It smarts to be the owner of tech that equalls a buggy whip in 1920.............

Re: GE\'s new \'Reveal\' incandescent bulbs

Thanks vcal i'll check that out.

I think your right lambda :)
Perhaps they are taking notice and feeling
the LED competition. It looks like
we are in for a wave of competitive
research regarding lighting for the future.
I'm certainly looking forward to it.
It's time for new lighting technology,
and i feel we are living in the transition
period between the old technology and the
new. I'm betting there are other types
on the way too.

Take care,
Al
