Getting a Luxeon off the circuit board

I have an LS module with the "batwing" lens and was wondering if anyone has experience getting the black lens holder off the board. It looks to be epoxied on.

Any suggestions?

Yes, just grab the collar with a pair of needle nose pliers and twist/pull it off. It seperates without too much complaint. Sometimes it also loosens the LED, so you might need to resolder it.
