on the camp out this weekend i noticed that my e2 glowed around the bulb for 3 sec. or so after turn off. what i saw was a really light blue ring around the bulb - try it and see what i mean- night adapted eyes are best so cover it when you turn it on and then shutit off and uncover and look


why is this?

I've noticed that a lot with the big halogen spotlights made for the car (plugs into the cig adapter).
It looks like the quartz envelope that gets a deep faint bluish glow. Maybe theres something in it that gives off blue light when heated.

Hey, i noticed the same thing when i first
got my E2! Only mine glowed green. I wonder
why Surefire uses glow in the dark stuff for
the mno3's plastic parts?


BTW, any progress on the sl luxeon lights yet?
