Your battery drainers in their simplicity are a reminder to me that -
- the simplest things in life can provide fun and joy
- to waste not, is to want not, and
- even if only in small ways to try to brighten someone else's day

Thanks datiLED.

Thank you Derek! I'll take this one

10mm ZXLD381 (1.5V) battery drainer with 3400K high CRI LED. Perfect for draining AAA cells (or any other 1.5V battery). Will not stick to vertical surfaces like other drainers, but so tiny and cute.

Looks like we can wrap this up!

I'll take:
Original 1.5V VoltVamp circuit with some PCB artwork that I was testing. 5400K high CRI LED and koi silk screen.

Thanks Derek! What a nice way to head into Thanksgiving.

Think that means I get the: 1.5V through hole battery drainer prototype with cool Nichia GS LED. A real performer and drains cells low. Plus, you get to see the circuit!

Heck yeah!! Thank you Derek. :D

PSM, you are correct!

I dropped all of the battery drainers (except KuanR) off at the post office this morning, so most of you should see them by Monday.

KuanR, per your request, your battery drainer will ship when I am able to build the micro lantern.

It's a silicone diffuser that I got with some light but I don't remember which.

Fits perfectly over the c-cell and stretches slightly to accommodate the wire.

----------
If you still have one laying around somewhere, an old film canister w/5mm hole in the top works so well I'm tempted to glue it up that way.

The translucent cap from a bottle of spring water sits perfectly atop my lantern, like a tiny lamp shade, and makes a fine diffuser.
