Man, the reality of being a flashaholic really sets in, when packing to leave, I've been topping off cells, organizing lights, deciding what to bring. It's crazy. I've got an entire small bag coming with me, just so I can bring the hobby along. I've actually decided to bring along my chargers, just in case, lol.

I think I spent all of 10 minutes preparing everything ELSE I would ordinarily bring on a vacation, have hours put into preparing to bring flashlights, lol.

sickness? addiction? Maybe it's time for an *intervention* lol...

Anyways guys, I'm going to be away from home and away from my computer, which probably means away from CPF until around July 7th. So in that amount of time it's likely my PM box will fill up, and I won't be around to smear my opinions all over the forum as usual. lol. I'll miss you all dearly, until then, happy illumination!

Have a good time, we'll miss your informative incandescent posts while you are away! I'm feeling the weight of my addiction in a similar way as I plan another trans-atlantic move. :ohgeez:

I do that too! And the funny thing about it is, most of the time I get buy with my Arc AAA-P and E2e. And I usually don't even go through one set of batteries.

Enjoy where ever your going!

I don't spend much time picking lights I just carry my edc L4 and E2L but geez I never know if I'll be able to find lithium 123 for a reasonable price so I over kill on carring spares I don't travel without a minimum of a box of 12 surefire batteries (I need to get rechargeables)

12 is nothing, those things are pretty small anyway.
i'd say about 50-100 is at least something you won't loose.

Quite agree. SFs are good but they do suck batts. I have given up on CR123as or RCR123As for my 2 6P+KL3. They now feed on 17670s.

Know exactly what you mean about deciding which lights, extra batteries, chargers, etc. It really is kind of silly. Usually I end up using one or two lights, but I might bring six or eight, just in case.
