Niwalker wowed us with the MM15, a soda can sized light that put out over 5000 lumens. While I personally love floody lights, the MM15 was pure flood and had no distance. What about a light that still has a ton of lumens, lots of flood, but also throws in some distance as well?

The Nova MM18 takes the MM15 concept and adds in an XM-L2 LED with it's own separate, larger reflector to give you some distance. Two CREE MK-R LEDs cover the flood portion. Two switches control each LED type, allowing you to independently or simultaneously control flood and throw, making for a very versatile light. The MM18 is powered by 4 x 18650 batteries (not included) and has a detachable handle for easy carrying.

We'll have the MM18 in stock in about a week.

Is there a lockout feature ?
On the Going Gear website it says the light comes with a holster bag. Can the bag attach to a belt ?
Thank You.

Hey all, I picked up an MM18 last weekend. It took me a good bit of trying it out to get a handle on the one button UI, not so bad after awhile. But I get the red LED at the switch buttons a lot! Like, all the time if I use it for a few minutes. The red LED at the switch buttons is supposed to indicate low battery level, but these were brand new Orbtronic 3400 mAh batteries and just charged up with a new XTAR VP2 charger. I pulled them out and all four cells read 4.10V on a WEi DL250 that I trust.

Anyone have any similar experience? Any advice? Any ideas what is going on?

TIA, DB
