How often do you have problems with batteries in the cold? It's rarely a problem here, but a few years ago I had Energizer 2500s (I know, I know) lasting about ten seconds out of pocket in Indiana in the winter.

So where in Alaska? I lived in Anchorage for 22+ years and even though I now live in Hawaii, I still miss Alaska a lot. Especially the fishing, hunting and snowmachining. Hmmmm, I think it's time for a vacation.
