Hi,

New member here! I got a Surefire E2DL and I'd like a good keychain light to use with my SF123s that don't work on high anymore.

I considered saving them for emergencies but then I'd have to test the pairs to make sure they're still the equal capacity(?), and I'm still not sure thats ok after all that time sitting there.

So, after much searching I've come down to 3 - the Fenix P1 [and P1 CE], Zebralight H30, and Peak Led McKinley HAIII.
(Note: I don't know how the P1 functions on partly drained batteries but I don't wanna get a P2D because I want SMALL! My pockets are full enough already!)

It's really a subjective question I'm asking. I don't really care about runtime or brightness; but feel, size, actual use, carrying it in your pocket, x-factor, etc.
It's hard to get a feel for the size looking at pictures, like the first 2 theres different specs for length out there.

Any input and advice is much appreciated.

Thanks!

Shawn

I'm fairly sure the Fenix P1 is not going to work for you as I remember mine suddenly shutting off from almost full brightness when the battery got too low. Same for the P1 CE I believe. No vamp there. I think the Zebralight H30 and McKinley might work though. Crenshaws thread has all the good vamps.

For future reference,

I've decided on a Fenix P1D instead. No memory of last output used, but with low battery only medium and low will work, so it's perfect.

Cheers
