I went to a youth concert/conference this Thursday night- Friday morning, and during the intermission I was playing with my P2D, and T-1. The woman (a youth group leader) in front of me turns around and asks to see the P2D, or "strobe light". I reluctantly gave it to her, with brief operating instructions, and she starts stobing everyone in her group at 10 foot or less range. She had a blast, and I was laughing so hard I was crying. I reccomended she try the T-1, but she like the stobe feature better. She demanded I tell her where to buy one, so I told her about Fenix, and warned her about CR123A cost etc. From then on whenever they turned out/dimmed the lights in the building, basically a small indoor sports arena, she wanted me to strobe the rest of the place since we were sitting in a high level. Of course I happily did as she told me, but I was careful not to be a PITA (shining directly in peoples eyes, etc.) Overall, I had a great time, and this was a fun use for the strobe mode.

Absolutely! The P2D is clearly the most efficient, and versatile light I own. I keep the light on turbo mode all the time in case I need to strobe someone to get their attention like the pizza guy that loves to just drive by my house, or to hunt down a taxi cab etc. Another useful feature/option of the P2D is the diffuser tip for reading. Out of all the lights I own the P2D is the light that everyone I know wants, and I am proud to own it.

i got to use mine today also!:D

I went on a tunnel walk today. (I'm in MD right now) I went on a walk threw of the subway tunnels. I medium setting was perfect for lighting up the cat walk. And turbo did awesome to signal oncoming trains.

One time we had the family over, all the young'ns were in the garden playing, doing what kids do best. It was dark, and i diped into my pouch and pulled a P3D CE, P2D CE and P1D CE, and began strobing the garden with P2D and P1D and was using the P3D as a spotlight since they were going back and forth down the garden, and stuff. It got them going, then they wanted my lights lol, so i went and gave them the Ultrafire C2 to play with, and i let them continue on their own.
