I called Surefire today and ordered a KL3 with green LED. I mistakenly thought I had owned a green KL5 at one time but in fact it was a KL3, I was mistaken. After a LOT of discussion with the very helpful customer service manager (Dorothy) she told me that Surefire would not be making any more KL3 lightheads with colored LED's and very few were on the shelf. When they're gone (sold) there will be no more made. The ones still available are the 2nd generation 3 watt models, not the 1st gens with the ribs and the TIR optic. I didn't ask whether or not there were any red ones still available. I only could afford one of them so there are still some left. I just thought I'd pass this along to everybody in case anybody wants one.
