Ok, so you buy a bone in turkey breast (meaning the bird minus the wings, thighs and legs). You stick in the oven like the package says and cook it like the package says but for the last 30 minutes turn it upside down to brown the lower half. Bad idea.
Now with a whole turkey you can invert it with drumsticks down and juices stay in the skin. But the legless bird upside down means the juices run out resulting in Sahara dessert dry breast meat.
I've never been one to cook the bird the same way year after year. Each year I try something different. I definitely won't repeat that again.
The other food turned out wonderful so there was that. Nobody complained about how dry the turkey was but even the dogs were drinking from their water bowl between bites we gave them.
