Ok, I've had 5 from DX and 5 from KD and can't get any of them to work properly. I soldered wires on 3 of them, they didn't work, so I tested the rest without soldering.

This is my setup: http://bill.hedworth.googlepages.com/setup.jpg

This is how I am wiring them up (solderless in this pic): http://bill.hedworth.googlepages.com/wiring.JPG

Just to make it clear I am taking led -ive from: http://bill.hedworth.googlepages.com/dx7880.jpg

I've been v.careful to always have the boards output loaded, and have checked the wiring a million times...If bypass the modes by taking led -ive from the IC chip leg which is closest to normal led -ive they work but in single mode.

I've used many drivers in the past dx6190 dx7880, Kennan etc etc and have never even had 1 die on me....so 10 in one go is bizzare!

Help!

The led -ive actually goes all the way through the board to the base of the leg you see in my second picture.

I actually haven't pictured me taking negative from the the mode IC leg.

HI,

I have exactly the same problem... with sku7882

See how I connected the led here : http://candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=192893

So I think that you connected properly the led... and that these items do not work
