HDS Rotary Tactical pocket clip suggestions

I have an HDS Rotary Tactical. Is there any type of clip I can get for this besides the one that goes between the bezel and body in also not a fan of the clip HDS sells that screws to the rotary dial. Any help would be appreciated

There were some ideas somewhere in one of the "Generic HDS threads".

Some where using a pocket clip on the smaller diameter part of the HDS (guess it was a Lumintop Clip) with additional cord around the clip to ensure it will fit.
There was also the idea on drilling holes in the HDS light directly under the rotary tailcap and than screws to have a fixed clip.

In general there are not that much options for the HDS rotary.

That’s a good idea. May have to try that. I got a Lumintop EDC18 clip coming in that I’m gonna try out. I would like to drill and tap for an oveready clip

I used 275 cord from Atwood Rope. I made the clip from some scrap titanium sheet I had laying around. The P-7 suspension clip from Tec Accessories works really well. It is a really convenient set up for me.

I keep saying this... the existing rotaries CAN be drilled to accept a clip like they were before they were cancelled. The stock is there... just missing a tapped hole.

Search the threads. I post a complete howto guide w/ pictures for this.

Can be done in 10 mins with a ruler, drill, bit, 4-40 tap, and vise (with paper towels for padding the jaws).

Not hard. I've used a 3/8 hand drill on some, a drill press on others. Have done about 4 now.

I still use a Streamlight 1L/2L clip with doubled-up Novatac vinyl caps on the front end, very comfortable in hand. Just stuff it in my front pocket and go. You could probably throw this thing against a brick wall without hurting it.. The wall I mean. The paracord lanyard constrictor knot keeps the clip secured in place
