Thanks so much for running the test, Hogo. I don't know of any other manufacturer where we could ask questions at this level of detail and get such an exact reply so quickly.
I do realise that this might seem like the ultimate in tint snobbery, but the extra 30 nm of wavelength between 630 and 660 really does make a difference, especially where dark adaptation is concerned. It also looks great - I have one clicky already that I've modded with a 660 nm Osram, and the deep saturated red is spectacular.
I would very happily order a rotary to go with it if Henry would consider doing a run with the longer wavelength (or even switching to 660 nm as standard).
One of the things that sets HDS apart is the amount of thought that has gone into understanding the human visual system and how it works. Coupled with the ability to go really low the longer wavelength would make the HDS by far the best solution for dark adaptation.
