Rare picture of Hogo working at the leather bench.

Man, that’s a lot fancier than what I thought I paid for. That looks really nice!!

It just needed a border.

So, here is the HDS Pouch. Something to toss the light in so it doesn't get those nasty nasty dings and scratches. I lined it with buckskin so that my brass or bronze can go in it. Made it strictly for flush tail HDS lights. Kind of a travel case I guess.

So, here is the HDS Travel Pouch.

Have you thought of a price for this style of bug out bag/traveling case? Separately, would it be difficult to put in a divider to fit two raised button HDS lights...kind of like a pouch with a separator?

I’d say you could make a bunch of generic styles (simple black simple brown) of those and put them on the HDS site. They should do really well.

I'll probably just add $10 to my base price on flashlight holsters as the sides are a bit tricky. Folks would want them lined or the snaps would scratch up the light.
That can certainly be done. It might get a bit long though. I think for two lights, a side by side case might be best and would take up less room.

Looks great Hogo...I like the coloring you chose as well

Looking at the carrying case...great idea, but I'm wondering if an in-pocket holster would be a better choice. They both serve as protection of the light but in-pocket holster kills both birds in one shot. where as the carrying case would probably be a bit bulky for in-pocket carry.

Still love the design option though of the case

I'm calling this a travel case... toss it in the glove box or center console or in a bug out bag to protect the light. Not really something to carry it on one's person.

So what if someone had a raised button HDS light with a lanyard, tritium vial, and zipper tab attached to the battery tube of the light (see photo below)? Would that package all fit in if the pouch was 4.25 inches long and slightly a little bit wider or is that outside the design specs?

(Do frequent purchasers get quantity discounts :grin2:)

My bug out/travel bag has lots of "stuff" bouncing around in it. A holster will only protect a portion of the light when this bag is thrown and crammed into spaces. Nothing but the one top right hand corner lined holster will protect everything on the light except the lens from keys, pens, other sharp metal objects.

That should all fit if it is just made a bit wider. 4.5 inch wide inside should do the trick.

RCS gave me the idea for this...

Holds the 18650 model...

And with a spacer, you can carry a 123 model and a spare bezel assembly like the old diffuse or new 90% glow reflectors.
