HDS Systems EDC Holsters # 1

It all started with doctordun wanting a double holster for his HDS and Malkoff Hyper throw... so after making that, I had someone ask about the 18650 Hound Dog and it all just proceeded from there. I have a few more ideas for this, but won't be back in the shop until probably Wednesday.

The last Hound Dog holster that sits the HD lower intrigues me. The only caveat is that my HD 18650 has the Tricap which is larger than the body, not lending itself to straight holsters.
Perhaps Dan has a magic fix. Maybe the holster only need to grip the top.

Maybe he can make it like a keyway for the tricap or even a larger opening would be fine as the head is cradled anyway

I drafted an email to ask for this but then I realized that you would not want to make a version of this concept. It would be very difficult to holster the HDS light once the angled loop got broken in (soft). It is an interesting concept though.

I like the concept, but you are correct... unless a piece of metal sandwiched between two pieces of leather was used. Give me a week or two and I will see if I can come up with something similar I would put my name on.

Here's how Thor's Hammer would do it...

Fully lined with black suede. I call it "The Show Off".

Top and bottom rounded because darn it, it just looks better that way.
Bottom shelf made substantially larger.
Strap around the head sewn in at both ends to better hold it for vertical carry.
Pull-the-Dot military snap.

Haha. I was gonna say is this like when girls talk about “cute strappy shoes”? There’s no women around here to ask but I have HDSs that would wear that.
