HDS Tactical Rotary 325 Factory Brightness Levels

I had a tactical one, and somewhere in HDS topics this question was already addressed.

There 1, 3, 5, 7, ..., 19, 21, 23. If you transfer tactics to level 12 (level in the sense of the number of the physical rotary sector, not the brightness level) and press the button and hold it, you will see the next jump - level 24.

I cant find his model, but here is what that link says.. .03/9/48/250


Other than max (Preset A), are these the stock clicky settings? If not, anyone know where to find the stock settings? Not lumens per level 1-24, but the default levels for Presets A - D.

post 13 has the lumen levels on the tactical dial..

the manual has the clicky presets:
EDCTM TacticalTM Flashlight Advanced User's Guide
Tactical:
• Preset A: maximum
• Preset B: fast strobe
• Preset C: brightness level selected by rotary control
• Optional features: Burst, Pseudo-Momentary
Sorry, but I think no one post is right describe levels))) because user guide says there is 24 levels same as in regular rotary, and in my understanding you can setup any from them on your 12. So what levels came in factory settings?

my understanding is that the 12 levels cannot be reprogrammed.

I think the tactical 12 levels are the odd numbered levels out of the 24

you may also like these rotary position, output correlators.. I added the lumen values from the tables, at the 50% and 75% rotation positions

lumen levels for a High CRI 200 model

The answer to my question was not found :) The table is not applicable to rotors with 12 brightness modes.

read chart lines 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17,19,21 and 23... (those are the 12 levels on your tactical 325 dial)

So, in that case there is no maximum (level 24) at the position 12 of the preset "C"?
I believe that it have to be there, because if you turn off the "burst" mode it must be at highest level all the time.

correct, that is what I believe is correct

if Im mistaken, I hope Hogo will educate us better

there are a few different ways to get to level 24

here is one you may find useful:

from on, double click,
that will toggle Preset A and C

fwiw, I can think of at least 3 different ways to get to level 24 on a Tactical Rotary, and one of them IS on the dial, its just not at position 12.

I do not know how to get level 24 in 12 steps, unless some other level is being skipped..

That is correct. Maximum (24) is only at the end of the dials rotation after strobe. The 12th step is level 23.
